Through the use of primary sources,

to settle in the New World and the contributions they made to the formation of
a diverse nation. Readers will learn about the big moments that occurred at the dawn of
the United States and its experiment in self-government through the eyes of the people
who lived it. This lends perspective into the ideals on which the United States was
founded.
